Overview The Virtual Patients Group is
comprised of over 30 researchers, including computer scientists, medical
doctors, pharmacists, psychologists, and educators. The Virtual Patients Group is
developing experiences with virtual humans to provide healthcare students,
professionals, and the public with communication skills and medical
education. We are integrating these
experiences into medical school curricula and public health exhibits. To date, over 7000 people have interacted
with our virtual patients. We are interested in expanding our
consortium. Please contact Benjamin Lok, Ph.D, Juan
Cendan, M.D., and Scott Lind,
M.D. for more information. |
